We are a grassroots network of chefs united by the belief that food access is a human right.
Chefs with professional kitchens make soup for their community, implementing a schedule that works for them (once a week, once a month, one-off times).
They put a Sunday Soup Project sign in their window if they want people walking in to pick-up,
OR, they partner with established distribution hubs for drop-off.
Think about like this— if only 4% of chefs (in the US) make ten quarts of soup per month,
that’s over one million cups of soup feeding our communities.
Our first food drop happens on Nov. 9th, 2025.
Click below if you want to connect with chefs as a distribution hub or if you’re a chef and want the Quick Start Guide (and a sign mailed to you).
HOW IT WORKS
Chefs with professional kitchens make soup.
They put a sign in their window when soup is available for pick-up,
Or, they drop off at a distribution hub.
When the soup runs out, the sign comes down until a new batch is available.
People pick-up soup for themselves, their neighbors, their friends and family in need.
No questions asked.

Who Can Pick Up Food?
Anyone. No questions asked. Pick up food for anyone in need—yourself, your neighbors, friends, and family. This is a community in action, taking care of each other.
